Hedgehogs Class take a trip to the airport!
On Monday 15th, the Hedgehogs Class spent the day at Birmingham Airport. The day began in the Airport's Learning Hub where the class undertook various activities: first pupils did some observational drawings of the aircraft from the viewing area. Then they had a competition to find out who could make the most aerodynamic paper Aeroplane. This was followed by a session where pupils learned about what happens 'behind the scenes' at the airport and the career choices available to them. Finally, pupils explored the airport including a ride on the Air Link system (Monorail) and learned about currency exchange rates. The Hedgehogs thoroughly enjoyed their day and are keen to visit the airport again.
