Our New Gardeners (12th May 2017)

This term, Woodpeckers class have taken ownership of the Primary Garden at the front of our school. Pupils started by planting runner beans and baby carrots in the classroom, using Sow and Grow kits. Then once the vegetables had started to grow big enough, they planted them outside in the school garden.

We currently have a mixture of flowers and vegetables growing outside, and pupils have been working very hard to keep them watered to make sure they grow! Pupils have even had a helping hand from Mr Scott and the Pastoral team - thank you!

Keep checking back to watch their progress over the rest of the school year and beyond!
