New Kingfisher Class
The new Kingfisher class have settled in well and we are all thoroughly enjoying learning lots of new things through out new topic 'Why do leaves go crispy?'. In Maths we have been using numicon to help us to count carefully and match an object to a number. For our Topic lesson we went on an Autumn walk collecting: sticks, leaves, conkers and acorns along the way and noticing all of the changes that Autumn brings. We also took part in Roald Dahl Day in which we made chocolate cornflake cakes in honour of Bruce Bogtrotter from the film Matilda and the children enjoyed the other various activities throughout primary.
