Swiss Roll Baking with Foxes! (3rd March 2017)

Today, Year 10 Foxes enjoyed making Swiss rolls with Mr Scott and Miss Spray in their Food Technology lesson. They learned the importance of whisking the eggs and caster sugar until pale, light and fluffy before carefully folding the self-raising flour in to avoid loss of air and allow the sponge to rise. 

As you can see from the photos they were all successful in producing a ‘passable’ Swiss roll, some more so than others. Well done!
