Northern House Racing Team is Go, Go, Go!

The Northern House Racing Team has officially started, with a small group of students learning how to build and then race their own electric car.

Over the last two weeks, the students have been learning how the smaller Goblin electric car works and putting it through its paces in the school grounds. They have had to deal with a punctured tyre and had to learn how to repair and then attach it onto the car safely.

This week, the students have started to construct the full size F24 electric car that will be entered for races when it is fully built.

A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Solihull St. Alphege who have very generously donated £100 to the Northern House Racing Team. This is to add to the £500 they had already donated at the start of the project.
