Otters Visit the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

On Wednesday, the Otters class visited the Leonardo Da Vinci 'A life in Drawings' exhibition at  Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. This once in a lifetime opportunity allowed pupils to view 12 of the Renaissance masters drawings from the Royal Collection.

Following a private viewing of the drawings, pupils took part in a workshop where they learnt about Leonardo's working practices and his creative process. Pupils then had a go at creating their own masterpieces using materials that Leonardo used such as, Pen and Ink, Charcoal, and Pastels.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were engaged and well behaved throughout.

Well done Otters!
