"Squeaky Pop" Experiment (13th June 2017)

Today, Badgers class performed the 'Squeaky Pop' experiment during their Science lesson. This is a technique used to test for the presence of hydrogen.

Pupils reacted magnesium ribbon with hydrochloric acid and then used a lit splint to test for hydrogen...which gave a big "squeaky pop" sound. Fantastic skills were displayed –well done Badgers!
