Christmas Celebration Day (14th December 2016)

Today we held our end of term ‘Christmas Celebration Day’ which involved staff, pupils and their parents/carers coming together to celebrate the success of their children. Families were invited into the school to visit their child’s class teacher/subject teachers and see all the work their child had completed this term.

This was followed by our Christmas Show – first, Newts class warmed up the audience with a faultless rendition of their original composition ‘Superhero’. It was their first public musical performance and the group did a wonderful job – well done! Then it was time for the main show – ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’. All the Primary pupils put on a fantastic performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance – well done!

We all then sat down together for a traditional Christmas dinner – it was scrumptious.

During the day we raised £200 at our Book Fair and £119 from our raffle. Big congratulations to Josh Hall for winning the raffle – he won a fabulous Christmas Hamper!

On behalf of Northern House School (Solihull) we would like to say a huge thank you to all the children and their families for a successful day. A massive thank you must also be given to all the staff for putting on this fantastic event – well done everyone!
